Ekspedisi ke BB Bahagian 2

Assalamualaikum..

This is the 2nd part to my trip to Bukit Bintang! (BB)

i wanted to write the whole trip in a few posts in one shot..

was delayed.

so here it is..

the plan to BB was to hang out with hubs, for our 3rd anniversary.
go out on a date - dinner and movie..

we started off the journey on Tuesday evening.

(kan m dah mention yang m bawak the kiddoes g BB earlier.. in the part 1 section..)

it was close to 7pm.
it was a Public Holiday for Selangor..

we reached our destination after much honking, in some parts of the city, 
and very very bad traffic.

we checked in a a boutique hotel in Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin..
(of all places i chose BB sebab kedai tutup lambat dan ramai orang walaupun hari dah jauh malam - in a way the nightlife here is longer than some other parts of KL. not saying there are no others, just saying ini adalah salah satu tempat yang happeningnya lama sikit dari biasa.)

The Courtyard Boutique Hotel is where we spent the night.

after our horrendous experience on the road (as explained above),
we finally found the hotel and checked in, after viewing 2 different rooms..
(yup, we had given the option. lucky us!)

we chose no 10, it was the room nearest to the reception 
(it was one of the rooms offered).
the farthest from the reception rasanya dah ada orang amik kut.

its a standard room. 
compact! 
upon entering, ada macam this kabinet yang block your direct entrance from the door. 

ada sitting area. kecik dan comel.
to enter, ada pintu berlipat. 
alaaaa, yang kena tolak atau tarik and the door cum window will fold into 2. 
kalau tak paham sorry lah k. 
m tak tau namanya apa..

kabinet tadi tu functions as a open closet dan tempat letak luggage, if you have any.

i love the loo. the decor. the simplicity.

yes, loo is important to me.
i am a loo person. in a clean way.

the downside is the location, in an alley.
betul-betul jalan belakang yang kecik dan..
no proper parking area. 
you can park but it'll be 'Park at Your Own Risk' kinda thing.

strategically, it is in BB.
walking distance to a 24 hour mamak stall
dont remember the name buts its next to Allson Klana. 
there are some 24 hours shops like 7-11 and KK Mart nearby too. 
jalan lagi sikit, leh trus g BB Plaza, Sg Wang Plaza, Low Yat, practically semua kat Jalan Bukit Bintang lah.

Pas kitorang check-in, kitorang g makan!!!
almaklumlah tersangkut di trafik selama hampir 2 jam TANPA makanan!! lapor weih!!

m makan ayam tandoori dan garlic naan!!
sedap sangat!
tak tau lah sebab lapar ke atau memang sedap ke.. 
jadi kita amik kesimpulan yang makanannya memang sedap. 
alhamdulillah. 

pas makan, kitorang jalan kaki ke Pavilion. 
jauh sikit je.. 
untuk sesape yang suka berjalan (pakai kaki k, bukan kenderaaan) 
maka you will definitely like this short walk.

kitorang g carik tiket wayang, nak tengok cerita Breaking Dawn.
cerita ni dah lama main kat wayang
dan tak abis abis lagi! yea yea!
we managed to get nice seats for the movie.. =)

nightlife kat Pavi ni wowwwwiiee k.
kat bawah ada banyak cafe, ada live band, jadi ramaila orang. 
memang hiduplah tempat ni kan..

it was a PH in Selangor so maybe that's why there're many people here even on a Tuesday 
or maybe because its BB, thats WHY there're many people here even on a Tuesday.
get me? hehehe. paham sendiri ah.

kitorang beli tiket jam 10 malam, plus minus.
movie jam 12 tengah malam.

alasan 1 (tak ikut order k): 
we just had our dinner.
takkan nak lepak kat cafe minum-minum lagi. 
boyot lah diriku yang dah sedia boyot ni kan..

alasan 2: 
daripada tercegat tengok live band, baik balik bilik, boleh m freshen up before the movie. 
rimas wei, berpeluh-peluh camtu pastu nak dok tengok movie lagi kat dalam aircond. 
rasa busuk sangat..

nama pun dating kan.    ;)

jadi freshen up itu mesti!

so, we walked back to the hotel.
took a different route.
slightly sunyi.
a little menakutkan.
but we survived. alhamdulillah.

kitorang ikut jalan belakang kedai arab. 
siap ada pintu gerbang lagi
(tak ingat sangat, tapi m rasa dia tulis cam arab town gitu. 
you  know, iso china town its arab town sebab ada banyak kedai arab.)

pas mandi, dan baring-baring tengok cerita Beach (Leonardo Dicaprio), 
kitorang gerak semula ke Pavi. 

singgah kat KK Mart beli payung satu sebab hujan renyai-renyai..
size regular je ada, Large size takde. tapi muatlah 2 orang hehe.

popcorn tu wajib beli. 

and we watched breaking dawn.

i love the final movie!!!!

happily ever after - forever lak tu..

sigh...

my dream not yet come true...
(manade dunia ni sesempurna tu kan)
we can work for it though =)

movie abis before jam 2 pagi.
jalan balik ke hotel.
masih ramai orang di BB.

Changkat Bukit Bintang kan banyak cafe, pub, restoran internasional gitu, mana tutup awal. jam 3 nanti baru nak start tutup..

sampai kt hotel, m la yang kong dulu.. seperti biasa..

nothing much in the morning, hubs tido lambat so bangun lambat cam biasa.
checked out and carik makan!!

disebabkan kami tak breakfast, terus brunch di Nasi Ayam Hailam.

i tell you, i love this restaurant..
i think this is the best Chicken Rice shop ever!
Ever!

hubs order nasi ayam satu set. 
nasi ayam plus steamed chicken plus peanut soup.

m order roasted chicken for myself. 
(only the chicken sebab m nak makan benda lain gak.)

oh tamaknya diriku..

kebulur giloks!

yang lain share share kerabu mangga, sup isi ketam dan tahu, kailan sos tiram.
habis k. dont play play w empty tummy.

our outing ended perfectly with this beautiful lunch!!
